In “Here,” my painting seeks to encapsulate the profound impact of COVID-19 on our collective human experience. The encompassing black symbolizes the darkness and uncertainty that engulfed our lives during the pandemic. Contrasting against this obscurity, vibrant and lighter-hued foliage emerges, symbolizing the resilience and renewal inherent in the human spirit. 

The red circle, a potent focal point, represents an unwavering force that empowers us to withstand adversity and find strength amid challenges. “Here” embodies the notion that we currently occupy a pivotal moment in our journey, persistently pushing forward toward the next chapter in life. Through this artwork, I hope to evoke contemplation on our shared journey through adversity and the enduring human capacity for hope and rejuvenation.
