My art is folded in layers of my various cultures, emotions, and stories that I find difficult to relate verbally. With a Pakistani heritage, a Saudi upbringing and a Western immersive education, I depict it in large brush strokes on canvas using mixed media and bold colours. 

​My stories of South Asian women, wearing ethnic colors and patterns from their rural homes, shows portions of their lives that any urban woman can relate to. “Pondering” shows a woman sitting quietly after a long hard day of work reflecting on her life, her sacrifices, and achievements that only she can see.
