This painting is objectively of a tree, but in essence it also portrays the form of a healing spirit. Growing from a little seedling lying somewhere in the earth’s womb. Nurtured by nature, a little sprout comes to life fighting against the dark that surrounds it. Slowly evolving to a full-grown tree. The young leaves of this tree depict spring or childhood. Transforming into dark green leaves, depicting summer or young adulthood. 

The multitude of vibrant hues of yellow, red, and orange, depict the season of fall – representing maturity and middle age. The frigid harsh winters are depicted as blue, which embodies end of life. Where finally the tree spirit has completed its journey, similar to the circle of life healing once again, season after season.
