I am a nature and animal lover. I enjoy traveling around the world and taking pictures but Covid brought traveling to a standstill. I missed going on vacations, missed the family and close friends. My other hobbies are woodworking and gardening. I could still take pictures but only locally. Cooking is a hobby but my repertoire was very limited. I learnt to cook many dishes during this time.

As soon as travel opened up we went on a tour of The British Isles where I was able to take hundreds of pictures to my heart’s content. My favourite subjects are landscapes, seascapes, flowers, architecture and nature. This stemmed from the fact that I lived in Bihar, India between the ages of 12 and 14, and the tribals known as Santhals accepted me, they would take me with them on hunts. I learnt to ride bareback on wild horses much to the chagrin of my mother. I also lived in Goa for a while surrounded by mango and jackfruit trees and of course lots of snakes, all this has impacted on my love of nature and photography.
