Being born and brought up in India, Ushma Rathi is very fond of its culture. Rann of Kutch, one of the beautiful cultural place in Gujarat, India This art piece is her imagination of her friend’s words who visited Rann of Kutch and described its beauty. She has received many awards including National Level Gold Award in Culture of India Youth Exhibition. Throughout her art career she has used various mediums like pencil, watercolour, crayons, acrylic and mix media. While being a fulltime accountant she keeps her hobby of painting up-to-date.  Her source of motivation come from other art work, words, photos and whatever speaks to her. Her parents and school art teacher played big role behind her success.
