Standing Strong

The elegance of a horse as it stands upright, strong and confident, has inspired my attitude towards the challenges life brought to us. We stood straight and still, although we were hurt and in pain. Building layer after layer on the canvas was my way of revealing the resilience in the turmoil that we were all faced with. Adding the final layer of stencilled flowers, showing the grace we carried in moving forward and accepting the transformation.
